Klever set to launch layer 1 blockchain mainnet, the KleverChain
Blockchain network Klever has announces it will launch its layer 1 blockchain mainnet duped KleverChain on July 1.
The mainnet will enable the Klever ecosystem to gain full independence allowing it to bring more products and services to its ecosystem.
Klever has positioned itself as a top-tier public blockchain infrastructure for the internet with a mission of making crypto easy for everyone to take part in. The launch of its mainnet will usher in a new era making a departure from the Tron Network which it was launched on.
KleverChain
While blockchain can prove to be difficult for newcomers, KleverChain aims at making it simple and easy for everyone. In essence, the mainnet will serve as a trusted and permissionless blockchain network for helping in the expansion of the emerging decentralized economy.
KleverChain uses a Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism, meaning it is more environmentally friendly. Its processing speed is 3,000 transactions per second but will increase with time because of KleverChain’s agile structure and scalability.
Building decentralized apps on KleverChain
Building applications on KleverChain does not require smart contracts because builders can access prebuilt and ready-to-use apps and functionalities native to the blockchain, making it simpler, faster, and cheaper to deploy DApps. There is also the KleverOS SDK that will allow both mobile and web developers to efficiently build and deploy apps.
According to the Co-founder and CEO of Klever, Dio Ianakiara:
“Klever has a completely different approach and instead builds the Klever Blockchain with smart contracts coded into the blockchain itself. It is inspired by what Satoshi Nakamoto did with Bitcoin: code once and the Klever contract or Kapp as we call it will be there forever for anyone to use.”
The idea of coding open and public smart contracts directly into the blockchain layer is a game-changer and will allow developers to build decentralized applications (Daps) more easily.
Dio Ianakiara also said:
“I don’t think developers need to understand how a blockchain works – they just have to call a well-documented function in order to use the blockchain.”
After the launch of the mainnet, Klever will continue to expand the functionalities and features of the mainnet including expanding the use cases of the applications developed and deployed on the blockchain.
The Director of Communications of Klever, Misha Lederman, said:
“The KleverChain Mainnet launch is certainly the next chapter of the Klever Ecosystem. But more importantly, Klever Blockchain’s use of smart contracts coded native to the blockchain (Kapps) made available for developers worldwide as simple and essential crypto features to tap into at the click of a button, is in actuality taking blockchain building in the entire crypto space to the next level.”
Klever ecosystem
Besides KleverChain, the Klever ecosystem includes a wide range of services and products that include the decentralized mobile Klever Wallet, the Klever Exchange, Klever NFT Marketplace, and the multi-signature solution dubbed Klever Kustody.
There is also the Klever Hardware Wallet which is in development and set to ship to customers this year.
